Melissa Ng 1 Report post Posted July 4, 2008 (edited) hey. how much did u pay for ur reno manz? ur house looks simple, nice n clean. =) think i'm gonna do something like tat too. hopefully it'll not cost me too much =x hi mwerkz, mine is considered a total overhaul incl wiring, accessories n everything...However the pricing is pretty subjective as it also depends on the type of material u choose, the quality factor, the bits n pieces u wanna customise for your house etc. For me i felt the simple look is lasting & relaxing after a hard day's work ..Just choose something that u personally feel comfortable in & won't get bored after some time..As i remembered Mace ( a senior forummer here) once mentioned - make your house look like a home, not a hotel Gratz mel on your newly renovated home. Hi Jack, Thank you thank you, now i'm stayin more closer to u liao in this yishun area, heheh Anyway the other day i saw the tv consol in ur blog, very nice , too bad for me it's out of my budget..nevertheless u got really good taste in all your stuffs, so can't wait to see ur reno complete too Edited July 6, 2008 by mel
Melissa Ng 1 Report post Posted July 4, 2008 (edited) so niceeeeeeeeee congrats yaaa..... i cannot tahan really want to feel that feeling too hahahaha.... but i must wait until sept lerrrrr hahahaha...... Thanks very very much CPE Don't worry, the time will come sooner then u think...actually you must enjoy your planning & renovation period, because this is the time where u'll be very full of hope & anticipation ..When my reno ended, my hubby n i felt a little reluctant for Patrick to handover to us ..during the reno period we came almost everyday, watching in anticipation as our house slowly unveils itself & surprise us. Before that everything was in sketches or imagination only, but slowly those became real and we're quite satisfied with the results It has been a good experience, not exactly smooth or perfect, but we've learnt things that we nvr knew . Now that the anticipation is over, it's time to kick back n enjoy the fruits of our labour...well actually not that relaxed yet, cos we still need to unpack Anyway we still need to decor our house a bit, so still something to look forward to Edited July 4, 2008 by mel

Melissa Ng 1 Report post Posted August 30, 2008 (edited) It's raining again ..well, good time to update my blog ... Hall makeover almost done... TV console Wall decal by Modishop - simply love it The guy who sold us this is the shop owner himself- very nice & helpful. Even though we bought only 1 set of wall decal <$90, he delivered the thing directly to our doorstep FOC. Edited August 31, 2008 by mel
