Recommended Posts

Hi guys , in the final stage of deciding of a washing machine so seriously need help for those who has similar experience before . Deciding between a front load electrolux washing machine or a fisher top loading or any similiar brand .

Is front load washing really better , cause the con side for this is a very much more expensive set about $1500 and need to bent down which is quite worrying in the long run or when wife is pregnant.

Top load so much cheaper and also no need to bent down however heard stories of stretching the clothes and so on ,

So guy , experience housewifes everybody pse help

Hi Gerald,

Well there are really more benefits for front load than top load, thats why alot of ppl are using front load nowadays. Some examples are:

1. Save water and electricity.

2. Clothes are handled more delicately and more...

Anyway, just for your info, today there is a sale for bosch items. Please refer to http://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/showthread.php?t=1964180. Today only. Going there now.

Happy shopping. ^_^

Wah, bosch got sale? Must chiong liao :notti:

I used to have a top load at my parent's house, changed to front load at my own house now.

Initially was lured by the water saving purpose. After seeing how the 2 machines function, it is true that front load can save more water, but it takes longer time to complete the wash. Which means more electricity used. When I used express mode, top load can finish within 40 mins whilst front load needs to use 1 hour to do the work. Maybe other brands offer faster completion option

You have to gauge yourself to go for front load or top load. Can get a stool to sit on it when your wife is pregnant :)

i was a top load WM user for many years but I converted to front load 6 months ago when I moved into new place. one of the main reason to get a front load is (1) quietness and (2)water saving. and also because of spin speed in front load (1200RPM) is much faster than most of the top loaders(3). (i think top load highest RPM is only 800RPM at the moment??) when i select 1200RPM, clothes just need one day to air dry (4th reason I choose fron tload as I can save $ on a dryer :)
