A 20k Question

Hi Guys.

Newbie to this fantastic forum. Just gotten my 1st home, a 5rm flat in Tampines,120 sqm tip top condition. So don't intend to do any much intensive reno except the following.

Question is do you guys think 20K will do the trick?

1) Painting

2) Built-In Wardrobes x 3

3) Hacking of 1 wall which separates balcony from dinning room

4) Kitchen Cabinet

5) Removal of cornices

6) Multi Split air con x 3

7) whole house rewiring

8) Hood

9) Hob

10) Kitchen & Toilet Sinks

1) Painting i was quoted a 5+1 ICI emulsion for $900 for a 4 room flat

2) Built-In Wardrobes x 3 wat type u want? i got a quote for 5ft wardrobe for $1080, with 2 panels of frosted/sandblasted glass and aluminium frame and external laminate finish, 2 lock drawers and secret compartment and top cabinets

3) Hacking of 1 wall which separates balcony from dinning room hack wall, PE permit is $300, contractor to hack and smooth wall and make good/replace of wall and floor tiles after hacking is ard $350 for my wall the size of a door

4) Kitchen Cabinet cabinets per foot run is $90, solid top surface is $70pfr

5) Removal of cornices i read somewhere the town council or wat can help u remove at a cheap cost or issit foc... u have to double check urself..

6) Multi Split air con x 3 im eyeing this inverter costing $2800

7) whole house rewiring not sure man

8) Hood hood and hob installation is free but u have to buy urself, im eyeing a hob costing $450 and a chimney hood can cost up to 2K la...

9) Hob

10) Kitchen & Toilet Sinks kitchen sink and tap u have to buy urself, im eyeing this sink at $190, kitchen tap ard $30... installation of kitchen sink and tap is usually FOC, including the running of inlet and outlet pipes using stainless steel or something , i think

you can get $20k to do all your list but for sure the grade for the service/ item you get is max 6 (0 worse - 10 top)

but.., who knows, maybe you can find better deal somewhere
