REDCRYSTAL 0 Report post Posted May 14, 2008 Yup! The sweet potato soup from desserts stall too! got to check first mah as the so-called receipt is very simple one. will give u directly as wat i was told. 1) clean the green bean in the pot. 2) clear those bad ones, with holes, black, etc. 3) fill pot with water and put to boil. 4) boil until soft or how u like it. 5) put sago in if u like. 6) when sago translucent, add sugar to taste. 7) once sugar dissolves, u can off the fire. for sugar u can use "pin tang" yellow one better than white. or there's a rectangle shape type. go medical shop and ask. personally i prefer to use gula melaka, those authentic one as it's more fragrance. u can also add sweet potato in the green bean for a 2in1 dessert. sweet potato soup is similar to green bean. if i cook sweet potato, it's usually with green bean. if u really wan it, can find out n let u know. so happy cooking
