More Guide From Me To Choose Id/ Contractor

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

just want share some experience that i had through for 50% done of my flat renovation.

after look through this forum, i decide use this 'X' id/ contractor because of soooo many recommendation in here.

in the beginning of renovation everything look OK. but just in the middle looks some here and there not in proper manage by the ID/ contractor.

i think will tell to you all the ID/ contractor name, once my renovation complete, so ppl can think twice to hire their service, even their recommendation is soooooo many in this forum.

here is the tips/ guide that maybe helpfull for you to know.

1. MAKE SURE this ID/ contractor that already licensed by HDB/ whatever, know exactly precisely definetly what they doing.

just imagine this, we hire them because we think they r professional enough to do their things (especially with their 'real' sooooooo many recommendation here), but if at the end, I must search over the internet, how this procedure of renovation must be do in order, and tell the ID/ contractor the correct way, then for what we pay them to do their job ?

the example i will tell after my renovation complete.

2. MAKE SURE this ID/ contractor is 'good', 'honest', 'sincerity' and the most IMPORTANT is love their own job.

my flat is just normal HDB flat, but if i want design it like the most expensive new york apartment. I think that is my business.

don't choose the ID/ contractor that think, ahh.., what ever you want do your flat, it still hdb. and maybe i only hdb ID/ contractor, if you want do/ modify this/ that better you hire another ID/ contractor.

just imagine, I choose the most sooooo many recommendation ID/ contractor in here, but still their behavior like this... wuahhh don't know what to say again.

3. Make SURE this ID/ contractor is your customer, not the otherway.

in the beginning the communication is quite well, but half done of the renovation, i'm the one who need to ask this how, this what ..., this when ... , that which .. , etc..

After been cooling down by my wife, agree, that no one will do in full heart even with slightly over payment/ quotation and soooooo recommendation in here BESIDE we do our own !

Again thanks for someone who PM me for currious about my ID/ contractorl.

Again, i will let you know who is the ID/ contractor after my renovation complete 3-4 weeks again.

my other advice,

1. this ID/ contractor have soooooo many recommend here but still not luck/ good with me, who knows they luck/ good with u.

2. ID/ contractor that have soooooo many recommend not gurantee their good. because maybe their previous client only see the renovation once a week or maybe two weeks once. for me i must see EVERYDAY how they work. (my earn money not easy to get, earn with rainy sweat and lot of stress)

3. don't go for ID/ contractor that 'easy' payment. it look like this. i (ID/ contractor) not force you for the payment, you also not force me how i (ID/ contractor) do my renovation for you.

Last, if you not get the good ID/ contractor just let it be, like me, after they finish the job, slowly and partly I will re-do again the job (with another ID/ contractor) that we think not even standard for normal renovation job.
