tofler 0 Report post Posted May 8, 2008 understand from my colleague that having a fan directly above your bed would have a detrimental effect on both your work & health... but don't really know the exact impact... but still, on the same side, i drop the plan of having a ceiling fan in my MBR... yokine9a 1 Report post Posted May 9, 2008 Hello No, its not ok. Hi Mr Chong, My bed is placed against the solid wall and I am planning to install a ceiling fan at the center spot of the room. So the fan will be somewhere above my legs when I sleep on the bed. Is it ok? If not ok, change the fan blade to wooden type will help? If still not ok, does it mean that I cannot have ceiling fan and got to install air-con in the bedroom? Thanks

You can put a standing fan instead on a selected location.
TYM 0 Report post Posted May 10, 2008 Hello You are not encouraged to place a ceiling fan in your bedroom. You can put a standing fan instead on a selected location. Mr Chong, what is the reason for not encouraging? If already installed, anyway to correct the situation (beside removing the ceiling fan)? Just interesed to find out. Just interesed to find out. Hello In Feng Shui, we are also mindful about 形. If the form is not appropriate for the environment avoid it. Just like sharp edges and so on. Especially when you're sleeping, most susceptible. Therefore, observe around your room to protect yourself when you sleep....many hours of unconciousness!!
