frederick_chia 1 Report post Posted October 31, 2008 Hi SoS: I am using the key which is given in the letter box to turn the water inlet outside the main door to full. I don't have such key. I recalled when I first opened, there are 3 pkts of the SCV cables.
blurer23 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2008 I don't have such key. I recalled when I first opened, there are 3 pkts of the SCV cables. mine is in the letter box when I first open my letter box. Let me took a picture tonight, so that its easy to understand. Nope, its not the key to open the riser door. Its the key to turn the water inlet. But the key is just to open the riser door right? Hmms.. apparently Mr Chew said that Bedok Central's windows are very long, so for roman blinds, need 4 panels or something and might look cluttered etc etc. Are roman blinds the same as roman shades? (Jeez, I think I learnt so many new things with his renovation!) my roman blind is just 2 panel for my living room.
applegirl 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2008 Blah. Had some of my cabinets taken back as parents weren't too satisfied with the colour. Anyway, am thinking of moving in 3rd week nov, currently they are still doing the carpentry work. Would it be too soon for the curtain people to come down to take a look? And also, how long do they take to do up the shelter shelving? I can't wait for it to be more or less done, so I can start on my shopping on houseware accessories! There's a pretty shop at Great World City, something Denmark, sells really nice housewares. Mr Chew said we should choose our curtain after we painted our house coz only by then u know which colour match ur wall better. And I agree as diff shades of blue can either brighten ur rm or make it dull, exp it when I have to place the sample on the wall to choose mine. Curtains take around 2-3 weeks to make so it is alright to ask them go to your place to take measurements now. If you are not in a hurry, you can make it after your walls are painted and your furniture placed. This way you can match the colors better. For shelter racks, just tell Tony what dimensions you want and the color (check with him pricing). Tell him which day you are available. He and his wife can complete it within an hour.
