Looking for good contractors? Click here for your request

I recently bought a Smeg hob (P705VT) and hood from gumtree website. Managed to get a combo deal from the seller. Both are made in Italy and the design looks pretty avant garde.

Anyone have experience with smeg products?

Could anyone advise which cooker hood is low maintainence (easy to clean) with good suction please? I am looing at Fujioh Hood which is suppose to suck the oil into a small container. Is it true? Is suction claim at 83% good enough?

Am also looking at Taiyo Induction Cooker (Magic Cooker). Does the temperature control panel works well in sustaining the temp.?

Thanks and Cheers.

I was advised by a kind assistant at SaniQuo (Sims Ave) that the European brands of hobs eg Turbo, Ariston etc are more suitable for cooking with saucers and pans whereas Asian brands like Fujihoh, Rinnai are more suitable for cooking with woks.

hmmm. i used quite a few European brands like turbo before and it's actually works quite well with my woks at the correct flame level.

flame control is quite important as it's control the quantity of the food cooked and the time taken.
