Chapter 2: the MESS. It has started!

To think everyone and everything was still procrastinating awhile ago... suddenly, the reno is so up and running!

The electricians had gotten the wirings all done up, the aircon trunkings are all ready, the MBR's wall hacked, and the cornices are up, though incomplete as of this evening.

Tiling's gonna start real soon!

I was telling my dad about how some of the neighbours are discussing about uneven or hollow tiles. And how some made the effort to check tile by tile and such.. and my dad sided the contractors!

Dad said, "Do you think these people will do up uneven tilings and leave it just like that? They probably cherish the work done more than you do! Possibility would be some other people (who ain't tilers) such as OURSELVES, other workers doing up some other reno a day after the tiling, and etc. unknowingly stepped on these "not-ready" to be stepped on tiles! yaddah yaddah..."

I'm not sure if i was right to start on that topic with him. He just couldn't stop. *smacks forehead* =x Amist the conversation, he mentioned we can roll a marble along the tiles which will give a different sound if there are hollow tiles? I wonder how true. Any modern people around ever tried that? I got a glitch it's some ancient technique which i'm not even sure if it works >< Perhaps i should try it when the tiles are ready.. sounds like fun anyway

Reno progress: Ceiling's done i heard. Tiling's only gonna start next week, so till then... no surprises. It's becoming fun to see how the house has something new added everyday..
