BunBun 5 Report post Posted May 17, 2008 Hello! We're both using the same oven too & I also acquired a recent hobby in baking just like Mrs Goh too. Its terribly addictive though can get messy with the flour and everything. One thing to note, if baking cupcakes, can only bake 1 batch at a time slowly cos cannot heat up the microwave oven too fast after use. scare later spoil very fast so I take time intervals to do the batches slowly. A bit time consuming as the oven is not big enough to bake 2 batches at a go compared to built in or convectional oven. Even better is to get convectional oven or built in oven. Convectional oven uses convection & conduction to heat food which means the food will bake from inwards while microwave oven uses radio waves or microwaves just to heat food. So heating the food is even and distributed better in convectional oven than microwave oven which is why sometimes food microwaved in microwave oven tend to be a little dry.
