Topspin 1 Report post Posted August 12, 2008 A family member used slates in the bathroom floor. As it is dark, it does not look dirtly easily. You should apply a layer of laquer (or whatever they call it) to keep it water proof, on the slate as well as the grouting. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
