Max383 1 Report post Posted March 26, 2008 (edited) Haha.... ok... here's the picture of my broken wall....I was originally so irritated by the narrow living room that I had. I wanted a big living space. But when I looked at the drawings (after signing the papers leow!), I saw that it was possible to shift the wall.... making a relatively large common room into a smaller one... either for single bed or as a study. quick quick.. can't wait so long.. spam chop! This is the "after reno" shot, from about the same angle! My new living/dinning room shots....paiseh...dinning table a but messy.More pictures...Hood and HobKitchen CabinetsSink area...with washer and dryerFridge...Kitchen bin...Kitchen paintings...Kitchen door open...Kitchen door closed...Master room door... love the texture!Common room doors and walkwayPD doors for toilets...Master bathroom...Vanity cabinet...Rain shower...Common toilet (with seat bought from UK) and basinBuilt-in wardrobe and dresser..Common roomArt and Mirror combo in between dinning and living area... applefreak 1 Report post Posted March 26, 2008 (edited) nice place you've got thereand reno is very fast btw, how's the gas dryer serving you? Edited March 26, 2008 by applefreak
Max383 1 Report post Posted March 26, 2008 Very very well.It has auto dry sensor that will stop when the load is dry..... but when you don't collect the clothes, it will continue to heat it ocassionally so that the clothing remains fluffy. The estimated time indicator helps as well. My wife is very pleased with the investment. nice place you've got thereand reno is very fast btw, how's the gas dryer serving you? Max383 1 Report post Posted March 27, 2008 My dryer is brand new....can't be sure it will continue to work as well down the road.My old electric dryer gets weaker and weaker every year. It used to take 1hour plus to dry a full load.... then 1.5hours ....and finally after 4 years.... almost 2 hours to dry the same load. Sigh.guess that'll be my next aim when my dryer die on mewhich i think will be another 3yrs
applefreak 1 Report post Posted March 27, 2008 hmm mine is still working fine after 3yrssame time taken, no sign of weakening though can't say it won't suddenly die on me

Max383 1 Report post Posted March 31, 2008 There's a picture above with my washer and dryer next to the sink area. Mine is a gas dryer... only one place sells this.....Citygas. It is Rinnai brand from Japan. They are selling at $600 with some dining vouchers...dono whether promotion still on or not.However... last year from Nov 07 for about 2months till 17 Jan 08.... they have 5 sets per week selling at $399. hehe... I am the cheapo one that went to queue up on early morning monday (beginning of the week ) to buy. I was successful only on 2nd try. What to do?... poor people like me have to think of means and ways to save money. Yes.... mine's a Shih Tzu as well.... coming to 4 years old leow. My little darling girl! She loves humans.... but afraid of all dogs. Think when she was young, she got scared when a golden retriever wanted to play with her.... never recovered from the trama since...sigh. How old is yours?hihi max ,congrats for your new house !! how much did you pay for your dryer ?? care to share a pic .. btw you having a shih tzu too ??
