i need to purchase a new basin for my common toilet. is it very heavy? cos i wan to carry home myself.

it really depends on the size, design and shape of the basin

you should be able to carry those smaller, simpler ones

but those big ones, esp those with pedestal would be quite difficult to carry

If there is walking to do.. not realistic lah.

Basin can carry.. but if dun have trolley to transfer from car boot to lift lobby.. me.. a guy will also tink twice.

Is not only heavy.. the box is rather bulky.

My friend brought back a new basin to my new flat last night. He rejected the basin which the shop delivered in the afternoon, so he drove down to the shop in the afternoon to choose another unit because that shop refused to deliver the 2nd time

My basin is very small, 30cm x 40cm, but it is pretty heavy to a small build woman like me If you are a strong guy and your basin is not big, then I think it is still alright

Sanitary ware cannot take hard knocks, can crack, so be extra careful if you decide to carry yourself. In fact, even tightening screws too much may crack the sink -- check the instruction leaflet that comes with the sink.
