jon_g9 0 Report post Posted March 19, 2008 oh...my bro actually said something to that effect, i supposed he's more informed than me in this aspect of gaming...2 weeks sounds reasonable, don't forget they need to plaster the wall before applying the tiles. in your case, if they're hacking your toilet floors, they would need to apply the waterproofing as well.i'm into both HT and hi-fi but my knowledge still not as good as those gurus over there...i'm always lost when the discussion gets technical...hahaThey just finished hacking the tiles. Hope they can get it done up really soon so my ID can start work. But heard its gg to take 2 weeks to lay tiles for kitchen n 2 toilets.I heard that there r some problems with the 60gb ps3, hmmm better go do some read up first LOL.U also into HT or audio? Not cuz it wont interest me, but cuz it means more poison, more upgrades, n more $ to spend!!!!But im hoping to own a nice tube amp some day. Im more into HT tho, music wise, i listen mostly while driving or on my laptop while working or surfing net. So gd thing is i wont be going down the audio path anytime soon, cuz if my setup up so gd also no use, since most of my tracks are MP3 haha.Guy's toys can be really expensive, we may hate shopping but once we shop its like spending the yr shopping budget LOL

jon_g9 0 Report post Posted March 20, 2008 here's a shot of my new toilet wall tiles. the HDB contractor has hacked away the original ones and this set of new tiles are from lian seng hin. apologies for the poor lighting, i usually don't use the flash on my camera phone and the picture was taken at night. the fat sewer pipes are eventually going to be concealed using calcium silicate. the blank space on the right will be hollow blocks concealing the water pipes. will post more pics shortly.common toilet

jon_g9 0 Report post Posted March 21, 2008 haha thanks...actually the drawings not very realistic cos it's not including the sewer pipes and some accessories are different plus the toilet is not as spacious in real life...nevertheless the drawings do help us visualise how the tiles will look like...Wow.... like your master bedroom bathroom.... looks very big and very hotel-style... if i have a bathroom like this, i will stay in for hours... !!picture of floor tiles for master bathroom
