TYM 0 Report post Posted July 17, 2008 Hi TYM, Do you mind showing me a picture of your wardrobe with doors closed and open? Wonder how much for installing the wall & door partition for the wardrobe? Hope you can advise me on this, as I am currently thinking of setting up a partition for wardrobe. Thanks a lot! With doors Ours cost $3K (abt 11.5ft). Was not given a breakdown with/without doors. merly 0 Report post Posted July 18, 2008 With doors Ours cost $3K (abt 11.5ft). Was not given a breakdown with/without doors. Hi TYM, Thanks for the photo. I have a few more questions : 1. How many doors can be open at the same time? 2. Will dust get into wardrobe easily? 3. Is there possibility of kids fingers got stuck in between the doors? 4. Is the door customade by contractor, or can it be gotten from door specialist (together with the box-up/false wall at the side? 5. What is the material of the box-up/false wall? Is it strong enough for a big person to lean on it? Paiseh...me ask so many questions.....
TYM 0 Report post Posted July 18, 2008 Hi Merlly, my reply in red. Hi TYM, Thanks for the photo. I have a few more questions : 1. How many doors can be open at the same time? One. But if u want, also can customise to open 2 doors, just that there will be more tracks, may not look so nice. 2. Will dust get into wardrobe easily? Moved in for 6 mths, inside still relatively clean. 3. Is there possibility of kids fingers got stuck in between the doors? There is a gap btw the doors, possible. 4. Is the door customade by contractor, or can it be gotten from door specialist (together with the box-up/false wall at the side? Ours is from Closet Design 5. What is the material of the box-up/false wall? Is it strong enough for a big person to lean on it? Wood. Never tried leaning on it before. Paiseh...me ask so many questions..... Mrs-Ang 0 Report post Posted August 15, 2008 Tks, got it at 50% discount, if not might not have bought it also. Tks, we don't cook often thats why decided to go ahead with the open concept as the original layout makes the whole house feel very small. Come to think of it, have not cook at all since moving in, except instant noodles. Yup, that is a dishrack, with a aluminum shutter door. (cannot really see from the pic) Oh my god! After seeing what you've done to your home, the reno. It is very much the same idea of layout I wanted for my flat too! I am new here in RenoTalk. Just joined today. I am staying at Tanglin Halt Road BLK 90. Hi Neighbours!

Mrs-Ang 0 Report post Posted September 28, 2008 Long time no update. Our newest addition, french white shelf/rack. Tot the dressing table would be our only piece. Nice piece, you've got there! Good buy! Actually I dropped by your blog for a few questions. I wanna ask you something on the wall hacking between the master bedroom and bedroom 2. I was told by HDB that I need to hire a Qualified Person to supervise the hacking work while my contractor is doing the work. Do you have any contact for this? If not, how do I get about doing all these co-ordinations? Please advise, thanks a million! By the way, issit possible for me and my husband to take a tour at your fab home? PM me? Thanks again! TYM 0 Report post Posted November 23, 2009 (edited) New wall decal Aiyo, laundry really look messy. Edited November 23, 2009 by TYM
CJREDDEVIL 0 Report post Posted November 23, 2009 (edited) Tks, partially to hide the gas heater and also to create a small laundry corner. No we did not do feature wall, carpentry ex. Did not hide the cable but just bundle them together in a white cable casing (like those u can get at Ikea to bundle up the computer cables) against the white wall. The pionner guys did it for us when they came to mount our tv. Maybe can see a bit clearer from this pic. Hi TYM, Very nice & cozy house you have, simply luv the panoramic views..... Well, if you would like to know and if you are interested, I have a tips for you on how to conceal those cables linking up to the wall mounted TV. This is what I did to conceal the cables to the TV set in a simple and easiest way without the drilling/screwing or paying fro ex wall-features.... Just place a decorative flower-vast besides the console table, pull those cable to the corner just beside the vast and camouflage it with the flowers decoration! I have shared this experience with some of the forumaers here....Hope it works for you too.(see this pic sample of mine) Cheers!
