Hi Samkcy79,

Some queries...

1) How do you make the glass matt...

2) How was your investigation on the paint being powdery?

Thanks in advance.. :)

Hi hihihi

1) According to my contractor, all glass door comes clear, then they will 'stick' the matt surfaces accroding to your desired design.

2) We went to check out the paint work itself, and found out that the paintwork is actually matt. Also, I did the 'finger test' last weekend and it was not powdery anymore.

CHeers!:)

hi Cherry!

Thanks!

The solid wood single (not teak wood) bed we got was from a shop called A C Furniture & Design at Bukit Batok Central, Block 642 (I have PM u the contact & address). It is a huge furniture shop and u will not miss it. Because we also got other stuffs from him, overall price was cheaper. Thus, if you are getting a few items at the same time, it is easier for him to give you a good price. Uncle Chew, who attended to us at the shop is also very nice and friendly.

Hope this helps!

Cheers!

Samantha

Hi Samantha,

Can I have the teak wood shop's address too? :):yamseng:

Hi skywolf!

We got quite a number of furniture from Teakland Gallery (what you see in the pics currently)and also 2 other teak wood shops (one queen bed frame and dining table).

Here's the address for the teak wood funitures we posted recently:

TEAKLAND GALLERY

20 Upper Serangoon Rd

S 347630

(Near Potong Pasir MRT station)

Tel: 62832648, 62846808

Just approach Mr John Mo, he's a pleasant guy to deal with.

Cheers!

Samantha

Many thanks to Uncle Wee for his experience and great service in doing up the storeroom rack! Uncle Wee has been in rack business with more than 10 years of experience. We initially wanted to buy the racks often found in Carrefour and Giant but ended up getting Uncle Wee's racks. He mentioned about other customers who had complained about the racks sold in Carrefour and Giant being unstable and not strong to hold heavy stuffs. His racks could hold up to 200kg per level! I trust him because I have one at my parent's place and it has been there for about 23 years already! We were indeed very happy with his service and workmanship.

Here's the rack contact:

Just ask him for a quotation with your measurements.

Tile rectifications/ TV, Dryer delivery, Citygas connection

DSC00534.jpg

DSC00503.jpg

This tile was found cracked in the middle of our hall. Rectifications have to be made before we move more things in. It took 3 hours for the worker to remove and replace a new tile. Not to mention the other 2 hours for me to clean up the dust.

Here a video to share about part of the tile removal process. It was really hardwork for the worker. 2 thumbs up for his great job! :good:
