Shops Selling Children Furniture?

Hi all,

I have a 2-year old and wish to decorate her bedroom nicely with some girlie furntiure. Specifically we wish to buy a low shelf (so she can access her books) and the Ikea pull-out drawer set (to put small toys). I don't want to spend a bomb on them though. Can anyone recommend shops that sell specifically children furniture in S'pore? We just relocated to S'pore so everything is new to us. We live in Simei area. We have gone to Ikea but would like to explore other options. MANY thanks.

Seems like most children furniture shop are located near Toys R Us.

Next to Suntec ToysRUs, United Sq, and Forum. But all these are high end specialist shops. Eventually, for me.. it's still IKEA.

There is this shop at Woodlands Civic Centre, but may be too far away from you. Haven't been there for a few months now so not sure if it is still there. At the 4th level I think. It sells quite a fair bit of children stuff. I didn't buy anything from them, almost all my kids stuff are from Ikea.

Has anybody bought from these shops listed? Can comment on the quality and prices? From the look of it, they are probably not cheap.

As mentioned by many, Ikea also seems to be the next best choice for me. They have a good range of affordable children's furniture. Also, because children outgrow their stuff really fast, it'll not be too practical to spend a bomb on their furniture. Worst is, they start scribbing and doing funny things to them! LOL
