Ok today doing painting.

Well I did mention about the painter offer to paint for me cheap cheap.

And he asking for $150 and 3 painters will use 1 day to paint the whole house. ($50 each)

I say cheap and he got the job.

And he offers to varnish all the doors, skirting ect. for $100. He provides the varnish and man power.

Hence total $250 for 4 men painting and varnish the whole house.

I bought all the paints, total about $400

20L for the ceiling. (Lilac White)

25L for the wall. (Barley white)

3L various color for each room (red, purple, green)

5L for area painted by me. (cocoa)

Here are the paints.

They work very fast... start at 7.30am and by now 2.30pm is about 88% done.

So far good job...

Yesterday the electiction came hand help me pull the cable and power points from the MBR into the living room.

they did a very good job helping me to minimize the trunking.

actually wanted the scv and power to be pull from these point.

But after checking the toilet switch, they could pull form there.

so only 1 trunking instead of 2 running behind the door.

Here is a point for light using the aircon trunking running out form the toilet switch.

Here are the trunking for the SCV and power point in MBR which will be hidden by partition wall.

Here are the wires out into the living room.

And finally here is my switch for the toilet, from 1 gang become 3 gangs.

the heater switch will be plaster cover.

all the skirting, and all the BR floor!:( yes very nice now.

th_02032008496.jpg

Err... its very value for money. i give them $270 because of the different colours used in the room and a very good job they did. And they did a good clear up of the house too.

Now thinking for the Door grille, and door frames... what colour to use as they again offer cheap cheap to do the job. hehehehe.

they moonlighting to earn a bit more, i save a lot.

i called Hong Liang about the storage heater (15L Joven and Ariston), realized now all selling the 3KW (Heating Element Wattage) and not 1.5KW.

i guess i will get the Joven one as it can ceiling mount. i will cut a hole on the false ceiling in the toilet.

Hope it can be done.
