On wednesday, the window grilles came.

drill the bracket in the MBR and LR

After install the MBR one, i see ..... not right. there is a gap from the side and how come it sliding type.

called my contractor and confirm they did wrong design. took everything back.

th_12032008697.jpg

Saturday, they came back with the right grilles.

this time perfect, as we spend a long time to get all the measurement correct to avoid all the handles

th_15032008786.jpg

and no gap from the side...

th_15032008794.jpg

ok because of the drill hole in the window frame in the MBR. there are water slippage

th_13032008711.jpg

thought its just some water from the many yr back window installion. ( that what the HDB contractor said.)

after draining out most of the water... and after a rain... the water mark is back with water on the floor.

well let see when they say about this, as i request him to check on friday. but give me crap again...

i say i'm putting my PC there, and who going to pay if spoilt due to the water.

then he say don;t put it there lar.... when it rain and water slippage in then they will come to check.

'lucky or unlucky' it rain a little in the evening... and i can confirm the water slippage from outside.

well will feedback again on monday. sian.

Just some update on the water slippage.

see water slip in from hole.

th_15032008790.jpg

Using toilet roll and towel to drain out the water.

th_15032008792.jpg

lots of water holding in the frame.

th_15032008793.jpg

after draining out most of the water... the window grille installed with silicon pump in the holes.

but on Sunday morning water still slip in. (the grille guy did a bad job on the silicon patch, but now confirm the water slippage.)

th_16032008844.jpg

th_16032008843.jpg

the HBD contractor came in the morning, and give crap again.

He : where the water slip in, where is the water mark?

i : from the holes, as the water in the window frame.

he : like that how to know from where?

i :the water from outside slip into the frame and out from those holes.

he : so outside where are the water mark?

i : when it rain the water slip in!

he: so you got see where got water slip in, which part got mark?

i : it rain and the whole wall is wet with water! how can anyone see which part water slip in?

he : like that we also don't know where the water slip in, difficult to patch, later patch the whole wall thick thick not nice.

i : then how? so next time start rain you come and see where the water slip in lar!

he : err cannot... ... ... we will put silicon outside around the frame. and put silicon to patch the holes.

i: but then the water might still goes into the frame?

he : we silicon the holes, water will not slip in. Those water are from last time when they install the window.

i: those are clean water and after rain more water lay!... ... You put silicon outside then we see how!

well i just hope the silicon can solve the problem.
