Change Non-inverter To Inverter

Recommended Posts

Hi all, need your opinion or has anyone done it before?

I have a non-inverter system in all 3 bedrooms. is it possible to change only 1 set(master bedroom) to inverter. Reason being , it's being used almost everynight.

Possible? meaning there will be 2 compressor , 1 invertor, 1 non-inverter.

Thanks

If you mean to install a whole new compressor, fancoil with new pipes and ducting, of course its possible. As long as you have space to install mah.

But if you are talking about converting your existing system into an inverter one, then its is not possible. The electronics, pipes and gas are all different.

Yeah, I guess the only way is. Remove existing fan coil, so old compressor now supports 2 fan coils. Than install a new single split system. So end up with 2 compressors. You need to have the space to house the 2nd compressor. I only problem is, it will be **** messy to clean up after that...heehee...so for my new house, think have to one time pain and install all inverter.
