The FSM of the article is using the 玄空飞星 system so i'll try to explain to the max of my understanding of the system. It's true that a marble table can bring about unwanted/unhappy events but only if ur dining area is situated in the sectors where the 山星 are the malicious 5 and sickly 2. Both of them are of the Earth elements, and a marble table, assuming it to be of earth origin, will increase the effect of 2 & 5. The Mountain star (山星) will be "activated" by the big and unmoving marble table. 山管人丁，水管才。The mountain star will affect ur human relationship, translating to a hard time in ur job, which requires a great deal of dealing with pple. So if ur dining area is governed by the malicious and sickly 2 & 5, maybe a marble table might not be such a good idea. But if different stars governed ur dining area, there is no need for panic at all.
