Spot Light For My Paintings

last min got few oil paintings for my new house but do i need to tell my ID to install spot light to make it nicer?

any comments will be appreciated...

Depends on the location. If near the entrance foyer where it can be dark, then it may be good idea to have some spot lights. If in bright area, generally no need.

Also if you want to emphasis the painting (i.e main focus points) then also a good idea to have some spot lights.

Note, spot lights can make your place very warm and use more electricity.
