Shabby-chic/colonial/eclectic/whatever Mishmash

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone!

It's my 1st day on Renotalk and I'm getting right into the culture by starting my own RtB.

I just collected the keys to my new 4-rm 90sqm HDB.

My goal is to have a shabby-chic meets colonial meets eclectic meets English design. I can't find a good name for my style.

I also haven't found an ID yet. Quite unprepared compared to many here. But hope there are some out there who somehow share my unconventional taste and others who at least can find something different to look at :good:

Photos coming up, after I sort out the technical details...

Here's my ideas so far, for furnishing. I haven't gotten any input from any ID yet.

And here's some visual inspiration for my design:

If you see nothing, the pics are still on the way. Check back tomorrow...

Redwyrm, yes I drew it myself. Actually it's not complete yet, beds not put in. I've been trying to visualise what I want before going to any ID. Especially the study and kitchen.

Hello 312079

The layout of your floor plan is good especially can put a dinning table and yet still spacious.

Wow...so many themes..really headache to choose.

HAPPY

Yes there's an element of country, but not fully. I'm not trying to evoke feelings of cows and meadows ;-)

hehehe, guess i look at country style as a lot of wood

almost everything in wood, and most importantly - an apron-front sink !!

edit - oh yes, forgot all about mosaics :D :D
