i think hdb changed their ruling sometime in jul 07

all windows forming the external facade of the block MUST be the same as the rest of the block

so if the block comes with blue framed windows with blue tinted glass, then any windows facing out will have to be the same :dancingqueen:

Looking for good contractors? Click here for your request

just a quick update & advise.

I would STRONGLY tell all parents with kids at home.

PLEASE MAKE GRILLS!!!

my gf's 3yrs daughter almost fall out of the windows from her 21st storey flat! If my frd is just 1min late, she'd have regretter for the rest of her life and she'd have lost her dearest daughter forever!

See how dangerous it is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PLEASE!!!! DO YOU WANT TO RISK YOUR CHILD'S SAFETY OR FOR THE NICE NICE FEEL OF YOUR HSE????????

one of my friends said that, he had this plastic grills for whole house....

got plastic one meh?

i also strongly encourage all ppl to fix the window grills.

not only to prevent kids, for old ppl too

and also

make things 'harder' for the theft to break into your house...

I know this topic has been idled for a while now. I have a house in Admiralty Drive too with the blue windows. We are thinking of re-renovating our place as we are currently renting the place out.

1 question: Is it possible if I change the colors of the blue window frames on the inside of the house without having to remove the whole windows

Ok the question may sound stupid but I really dislike the blue windows but as mentioned, we are not allowed to change due to the regulations of the HDB rules.

Any suggestions or alternate ways? I know we should try to incorporate this blue window into our whole house concept but for so many years till now, I still think it look so out of place.
