Recommended Posts

Thanks commando for sharing, I will try to complain again and see how. Will try one last time, after that I will start my renovations and forget about all the complainings.

No problem. Try making the complaint to the HDB officer at HDB (not BSC). The tel number can be found in the online defect submission form. At least the HDB people are better trained to handle such complaints.

the varnish they did for us was okie. Not by HDB but by their contractor.

Is the ticking sound intermittent? It could be contractions due to temperature changes :P but I don't experience that in my parent's home (parquet rooms).

i guess so most likely is due to expansion and contraction of the parquet floor

i just worry that the parquet might come off next time

Hi folks,

I just reported that some of the aluminum window frames have scratches and the HDB/Contractor told me that the windows were installed 8 yrs ago and they cannot change it for us now as the colour of the frame is no longer available.

Is this true? Anyone else encountered the same reply?

I haven't installed anything yet but from the toilet manual provided by hdb, storage heater can only be installed at the given location while the rest of the fixtures (instant heater) can be fixed on with screws of max 20mm length.

I heard in both masterbedroom and one of the bedroom

where air con is on.

oh i also heard it one night. I suspect it comes from those parquet that are hollow cos' i didn't fill up all the hollow parquet with glue.

Splitter in electrical duct = inside the electrical riser? I thought this door is locked?

Not only is the door locked but the splitters are in another locked cabinet within it. Those thieves are really something!

hmm i'm not too sure too.. juz got the feedback from my neighbour when he asked the scv ppl down to fix theirs. i was stil wonderin whether is it cos when the bsc or hdb ppl did some rectification works or wat, they left the door open. din know the splitters are in another locked cabinet.. cos nvr open up to take a look.

but anyway, i tink u guys better chk..or perhaps muz wait til move in then wil know? since the cabinet housing the splitters is locked. but juz an update.. sun i emailed hdb abt it..and oh my, they are reali efficient..called me yday sayin tat they've already fixed it. at least they are fast rectifying this haa :P
