Commando 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2008 Thanks commando for sharing, I will try to complain again and see how. Will try one last time, after that I will start my renovations and forget about all the complainings. No problem. Try making the complaint to the HDB officer at HDB (not BSC). The tel number can be found in the online defect submission form. At least the HDB people are better trained to handle such complaints.

Not by HDB but by their contractor.Anybody faced with this problem? when u on the air con, can hear those ticking sound from the parquet? Is the ticking sound intermittent? It could be contractions due to temperature changes but I don't experience that in my parent's home (parquet rooms).
teodami 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2008 (edited) i guess so most likely is due to expansion and contraction of the parquet floori just worry that the parquet might come off next time Edited April 21, 2008 by teodami

rumi 0 Report post Posted May 2, 2008 Hi folks, I just reported that some of the aluminum window frames have scratches and the HDB/Contractor told me that the windows were installed 8 yrs ago and they cannot change it for us now as the colour of the frame is no longer available. Is this true? Anyone else encountered the same reply?

Commando 0 Report post Posted May 4, 2008 Anyone had install instant water heater in our bathroom. Our Prefab toilet seem like cannot be drilled as it sound hollow. I'm worried that it might crack. I haven't installed anything yet but from the toilet manual provided by hdb, storage heater can only be installed at the given location while the rest of the fixtures (instant heater) can be fixed on with screws of max 20mm length. I heard in both masterbedroom and one of the bedroom where air con is on. oh i also heard it one night. I suspect it comes from those parquet that are hollow cos' i didn't fill up all the hollow parquet with glue.
