Kitchen... Totally no idea. Going to see what design Adrian can come up with.

IMG_0692.jpg

Another view of the kitchen, featuring Adrian and his colleague’s stuffs.

The common toilet. Don’t know what to do with it yet...

IMG_0690.jpg

Common toilet again. I think it’s a bit gloomy...

That’s all! Hope Adrian and other Ids can come up with a quotation within our budget soon.

Hello Ahweewee,

We just bought a 2nd hand 3room flat in Clementi,

thinking of overhauling the whole unit as the previous owner didn't do a good job in terms of maintaining.

Our floor plan happened to be similar to yours.

How much did this Adrian quote you?

Look forward to your reply and hope that it is also something within our budget.

thankyou!

Hi jingle,

We're meeting Adrian over the weekend to get our quote.

Hope its within our budget. Will promptly post when able.

Nevertheless, why don't you just drop by their office to ask for a chat.

He's a nice guy, very sincere and truthful. Very easy to talk to.

Not the typical pushy salesman.

But also get quotes from other ID along that stretch too.

Its better to have more quotations to do comparing.

Let me know if you need his contact.

Best Regards!

Hi weewee,

i new in forum can PM me adrian no too.

thx

Hi moobat,

Do you think carpentry work is able to help me solve my problem?

My daughters' room is facing the main road and MRT track, quite noisy.

I'm looking forward to reduce the noise pollution.

Below are the original and proposed floor plans of my unit at Blk 24, New Changi Rd.

Many Thanks!

hi there, actually you do not have to be too concerned about the noise. I stay further down the road after tanah merah MRT. My bedroom faces the MRT track and main road. The first few days I moved there, couldnt sleep cos very noisy. But after a while , i got used to it and dun even notice the sound now.

On a positive note, I got auto alarm clock, the first train passes my place ard 5.30, bus 6am :D

I usually post my experience at another forum but thought I should speak up.

So far, I've got no problems with CJ Ambience and I'm already finishing my renovation works next week. Actually, I've checked out 7 IDs (and contractors) before deciding on them.

You may want to check out my experience at this forum :

www. myhometown. sg/Forum/tabid/84/forumid/23/tpage/9/view/topic/postid/93143/Default.aspx

(remove spacing)

Feel free to drop by my place if you want to check things out yourself. Maybe can help me look for defects too!

Psss...

Moobat,

Last week Adrian brought me to an unit in Kallang to show me on the workmanship.

I think it is your unit! Or maybe I wrong.

He shown me to the completed merging of a room into the master bedroom.

Those warerobe with mirrors were so huge in a good way and beautiful!

Amazingly, it did not make the room look small!

I wish I can have those too.

Too bad my unit and my budget might be too small.

Also, the lovely open concept kitchen!

I personal love the way the washing machine and dryer are hidden!

Totally in love with the design of this unit!

I think Adrian really a good job converting this hdb unit into a condo unit!

Very spacious feeling!

A more thing to touch on is the way the bomb shelter and Dbox are conceal with mirror.

Really enhance the spaciousness of your living room.

I wonder how much does those racks in the bomb shelter cost?

Hi Batman,

Is that a full height feature wall?

If you're using laminates for a large feature wall, good to note that some laminates may not appear so nicely over larger surfaces. (i.e. high gloss laminates tend to have a higher tendency of 'uneven-ness' when applied over a large flat surface.)

Most laminates come in fixed sizes (width + length) per roll. So expect to see the 'joining lines' if the surface require more than 1 roll/piece of laminate.

:)

Oh yep! That's my unit!

Adrian designed it to solve some of our key issues such as an extremely small kitchen and master bedroom. These days, space planning is becoming very important since HDB has been quite stingy with floor space (our 4-room only 85sqm - sigh). :(

The major cost factor was the 3 full-height feature walls + flooring/tiles. Without these, the overall cost should be less than $20k.

The racks cost us $210 in total (incl $40 top-up for the white colour metal racks + white PVC boards).

Can't wait to move into our new home! :P

I cannot stand the pink wall tile thingy. This definitely has to go.

IMG_0685.jpg

My husband even mentioned that those brick pattern makes him felt that he has stepped into a bunker.

IMG_0695.jpg

This is definitely out of nowhere. Have to go.

IMG_0697.jpg

we can keep the broken-marble flooring and they are still in very good condition. He also point out that this can help us save a relatively big chunk.

Hi Ahweewee,

Has your reno started?

How is everything?

Can my husband and i go to your place to take a look?

If you don't mind can pm me your address?

Hi all,

just wanna comment about this ID house. Mine isn't huge renovation like most of you does, just painting, marble polishing, vanishing on parquet floor, a bit of rewiring, changing of toilet bowls, sinks, heaters, taps, piping and some other small repair of the wear and tear. However, I am very content with their service. I very glad that even though mine isn't such a big case, they still take it very seriously. I must say that their coordination is very good and efficient, everyday I see things are done in great deal and many things are done. They promise me that I can move in after 1 week, they finished the job actually 2 days ahead.

Great job!
