cyanide 0 Report post Posted March 11, 2008 haha..guess what my kitchen grout came out when i vacumm the place. Plus the "new" white grout@ my living area also gone after the vacumming. Told the HDB contractor about it. They had the sheepish look. Think its proof of their shoddy work, yet again. Now i had to postpone all my furniture delivery till they redo the grout. had checked on the house few days back, regrouting done. replacement of hollow tiles done but unfortunately, or should i say fortunately found one tile uneven w sharp edge. already bring the matter up via online defect report. sigh. the whole house still dusty and still undergoing the defects rectifying... so for now... juz wait and see... rav3n 0 Report post Posted March 11, 2008 No prob...jus to share & hope we can find a reason la.... The guy who redo the grouting like 3 times for me, say my tiles too dry to "eat" ....dunno isit our area since our flats all built same time type....Or cld be just that batch of tiles no good?..... Actually, dun reali care abt the grouting after move in liao...I got sme fine crack line on paint oso, thk too dry reali, haha....mabbe its the Jurong environment? Anyways, b4 reno, all defect will look very big & uncomfortable but after u move in & stay ored, sme of them wont be so obvious wan. Its mre a mentality thing cuz we always expect our newly renovated hse to be 100% perfect since we pay so much for it....Good luck to ur renos! :furious:My kitchen one very jialat lor...so many holes too obvious liao. My parquet got small scratches i also didnt bother to complain. That we can tahan. haha.. Its been such a long wait that my HB & I are getting really impatient. Wanted so much to settle down in the new place then we can start our wedding preparations. rav3n,Do you mind sharing your quotation with me?PM me your email ? =)

My ID quote me a 6ft long flip up type at same area at $420 without cushion. Maybe my effect turnout is not as fantastic as yours.
