thanks Kelvin,

I was telling my hubby to take a look at yours, make more sense.

I am still keen on doing a tall cabinet and put oven and microwave at shoulder level though...not sure how it can fit though...

decision, decision, decision...

oh... initially, I just wanted a false wall so there'll be no holes in my hole when I wall mount my TV... but he was kind enough to come up with this idea !!

there're several things that he offered "FOC" during the process of renovation... 27.3k is BIG package? many ppl say it's cheap considering the things I'm doing...

wait for the final result :sport-smiley-018:

hi there,

my gas pipe is running the same way as kevin's. i don't tink the heat from fridge will affect it. anway the piping is done PUB ppl mag. shld be ok one

Okay, thanks for the tip. Linggie and I were discusing about it earlier and the heat from the fridge crossed my mind. But it would really save us having to do up a tall cabinet to hide the gas pipes then.

Hi Kelvin....nothing will go wrong in your positioning of the gas pipe.

Yesterday I talked to my id about the heat generated behind the fridge and told him not advisable to run behind the fridge, but he said no problem for that. Perfectly safe and sound!

I bought 2 kitchen lights, 2 toilet lights and 1 hhs lights. Total cost $150.

Compare to Prima lights: Total cost $500++:dancingqueen:!

See the different?

Anyway, will not have any so call desginer lights for the kitchen, using normal lights cos I will have bamboo poles, so, will not have any problems if I accidentally hit the lights. If mounted designers lights, if I hit and the glass break, all gone!!! So I opted for more pratical and down to earth lights. No fanciful lights for kitchen.

Hi Kelvin,

From the picture posted, I noticed that the remaining gas pipes in your kitchen are removed. Is it removed by PUB or by your ID? Thanks in advance. :dancingqueen:
