OnePostWonder 0 Report post Posted March 23, 2008 (edited) where will be a nice (and cheap) place to get the lighting and sanitaryware??I went to Jurong East (Opp Chinese Garden MRT)... went into a few shops there and conclude that PANTECH & Chelsea Lighting is quite on par for their prices, Chelsea has more choices thoughI also went to a few near the Sungei Road (near Sim Lim Tower) and find that DIY lighting has equally good prices and a bigger selection than ChelseaExpect 10% - 20% discount off the published prices Chelsea Lighting gives OSRAM lights if u're particular about brands... DIY gave me GE ElectricAcrylic lights - DIYGlass lights - ChelseaDownlights - ChelseaDesigner lights - DIYSwarovski - DIYI didn't buy much sanitaryware as my bathroom comes equipped with sink, toilet bowl, shower... bought mirrors, towel rack and others from IKEA Hi KelvinNice light you have!Today went to another light shop to buy the rest of the lights.Total cost: $775 + $150 (last friday purchase) = $905. It is laid around the kitchen and ends around the entrance to the toilet/bathroom.I also bought lightings from D.I.Y. Lightings too. Reasonable prices, wide selection of lights and good service.I dun think my kitchen came with gas pipes... the only pipes that was laid when I got my keys is marked in the photo
