applefreak 1 Report post Posted December 27, 2007 Anyone bought aircon from Best Tech Aircon Services?bought my air-con from Best Tech IMM, can't remember is 2nd or 3rd flrthe salesguy is desmond, he managed to offer us a lowest price for the air-con we wantthe HQ is super screwed up when it comes to making appt for running of trunking and installation of fan coil be sure to ask for the name of the person who took down the appt date and timehowever, when we first switched on the air-con and found it not cold enoughwe called and they came down promptly to rectify the problemalso, the workers will advice how to run the trunkings to minimise leakage problem, though beauty is apparently not their forte hope it helps

zirhk3355 1 Report post Posted December 27, 2007 Yes I remembered its the same - basically HDB issue for aircon is the voltage consumption (whether will trip or not) and those installing on a bracket outside the window ledge (whether will fall and hit people or not).Anything you put within your interior space should not be a problem.Alternatively you can write in to the branch office to play safe. Remember write in, don't call because they will just rabble off some rubbish verbally and not take responsibility for it.
phoenix 0 Report post Posted December 27, 2007 i think its not a problem... but ehh... wouldn't it like 'spoil' the look of your balcony? not to mention, if aircon in operation in the bedroom, u can hear the compressor if u sit in your living room (assuming aircon not on there and balcony doors are open). kinda noisy isn't it? TYM 0 Report post Posted December 28, 2007 Yeah, was thinking about this too.Not forgetting the hot/warm air coming out from the compressor...Yeah, will be warm and noisy.Have a friend staying in masionette, air-con compressor at balcony, switch on air-con must close balcony doors cos the warm compressor air may flow into the house. Not forgetting the compressor noise too.

My friend did his like that, there was a leak ended up having to dismantle the whole wardrobeMy balcony has afternoon sun, so I guess it will be hot anyway. Also me and FH are not really big aircon users, so we dont think it will be a problemTHANKS!!
