BunBun 5 Report post Posted February 24, 2008 Applefreak : Here's some updates for you in case you've not gone down to Ikea at alexandra to get the 80cm rack. I just went down to Ikea and bought 2 80cm racks + 1 120cm rack. There is stock available left for 80cm rack, not many stock for the 120cm rack.

BunBun 5 Report post Posted February 24, 2008 We bought quite a number of stuff so having Ikea ppl to deliver and do the assembly for us, including the Grundtal racks. I don't have any electric drills to drill into the kitchen tiled wall. Or else can save a bit on the assembly charges though. But pocket much more lighter after some shopping today for a sofa bed + shoe cabinet at tradehub & the misc stuff from Ikea. thanks for the update, just went down today to get 2 of the 120cm onesnow got to go buy drill bits to install the racks

Ptro 0 Report post Posted February 26, 2008 as for stainless steel items, think the GRUNDTAL series is 18/8 stainless steelwhich is about what is sold in the market18/10 is hard to come by and cost a lot more Hi Apple,Sorry to cut into this thread, newbie to this forum but found a wealth of info already here. My missus and I are currently looking for stainless steel accessories (both bathroom and kitchen). I have visited a few shops (Hoe Kee, Poh Joo, Song-Cho, Bacera, Universal Union, Homeone) but found many of them quite expensive as compared to Ikea GRUNDTAL. Are you sure GRUNDTAL is really 18/8 stainless steel? Because I asked a few of the shops and they said GRUNDTAL stainless steel is of a lower grade. Are they just bulls**ting so that they can sell their products? Where did you get your info from? I surfed a few Ikea websites but cannot find it written down anywhere...Appreciate your comments?Cheers,Ptro
