Patch Up Work, Whose Job?

Hi there,

Is there anyone out there who can advise me if the main contractor/id is supposed to patch up all the holes made during hacking so that my painter can just paint.......! !!

My cont/id said not his job after making so many holes & then now cannot paint, sliding door cannot fix etc. Ask me to pay some more..I'm very confused.

I thought the one that hack away must make good the area after that,right? Pls help

hmm it depends largely on the integrity, and of course the contract terms, of the ID / Contractor

usually it'll say hack and make good affect areas of xxx, does your contract state that?

or if you contractor is a nice guy he'll also do it

only those know for 'hidden costs' ones will play punk like this

Feel very cheated. No choice liao, have to pay, if not cannot finish by month end...my daughter must sit school bus. Now at temporary place, very far.

NVM, was already intending to post my reno from start to finish after completion to share my journey that is not very common coz i didn't give all to my id to do. Price difference is $0000, no joke.
