Heh..HDB FLAT SELECTION - 26 JUNE 07In Feb 07, HDB opened up the ballots of Bukit Merah and some other contituencies for sale and we decided to apply for a 4 roomer in Bukit Merah after missing out in the Redhill and Tanglin Halt sales. Our reason for picking "central" location is pretty simple, we are working near town and with our home nearby, we think we can save on car costs which is becoming quite costly. A couple of months later, we got our Q nbr which wasnt quite a favourable nbr at the first place becoz its nbr 447 out of 465 units being offered!INTERIOR DESIGNER HUNTINGAs excited as we've chosen a unit, we now in search of a potential interior designer to suit our taste to build up our dream home. So we travel from IMM, to Geylang, and even to Changi to listen several quotes and also design and style from what they can offer us. Anyway this is our floor plan.. which I guess some of my fellow neighbours have shown in this forum;After much discussion, bantering and rattling at each other.. we decided to employ Frontier Concept Pte Ltd @ Level 3 IMM and Kevin Kwek as our ID to do up our renovations.OUR FIRST EVER PURCHASES! - 10 NOVEMBER 07We went to Furniture Mall at Beach Rd for furniture sales and we didnt go home disappointed AT ALL! Here and behold, they called us up for appointment on the 13th Nov to collect our keys first thing in the morning. By noon, we are proud owners of a new flat!!Anyways we checked out the place;All I can feel now is...
