Our Home Sweet Home...

Recommended Posts

Did Dong-tu today, but we have not finalised contractor/ID. But he (fsm) said that once dong-tu, got abt 6 mths to start. :P And we dun get to stay inside the unit while fsm was doing it. !! Waited downstairs after opening the door and windows for fsm... :dunno::dunno: So didnt get chance to take pic. :bleah:

Audit on the unit then went on after dong-tu was done and we headed back to unit. We noticed that he had thrown the rice, salt, etc around the unit to mark territory. :good:

Kitchen.... :~ No island hob for us! :~ :~ So gotta decide if still shd go ahead but leave it as a table. An expensive table complete with granite as table-top. !! Could probably use it to place rice cooker, etc. Or something else... :yamseng::dribble: Because with the hob facing the wall, and the sink at another side of the L, there's no place to put the appliances. But oh well, we saved 1 Eubiq kitchen track most probably... :)

Hmm? Nope, we had not got anything yet because we kinda slack + fsm had not audited the unit yet. Sekali this one cannot, that one cannot, etc. Will really faint then. :)

I forgot to add some other things. No standard lights in all bedrooms because apparently my ceilings are quite low. Overhead light causes pressure downwards. !! And also, platform although is good because it's wood, but we need to see the 4 'legs' of a standard bedframe. Light has to be able to passed thru from one side to the other. How, oh how? !! :yamseng:

Wow why like that ah? Hm I think you might need to get an ID to solve your problems and create according to what your standard is cos if going by contractor, Contractor can only do according to specifications. Very few contractors will give good suggestions actually.

Perhaps a low frame. Those really low frames with some 'legs' that can be seen. :dancingqueen:

we are using this kinda. as our MBR is supersmall, putting a tall bed would kinda mean less

airspace and look abit more suffocating.

the visual effect of a lower bed in a small room is more comfortable and makes the small room looks more airy :)

but if u have a big MBR, full size is the way to go, looks majestic :thumbs up:

about 2.5inch from the ground, base also about 2.5inch thick

Off-note: I think I saw a forummer who bought this rice dispenser thingy. Personally think it's quote cool. Dunno whether hubby will :D me or not when he hears the price - $90+ after %.

my frame is higher coz i went for one with very thick bedhead

do try out the frame with mattress and ensure that you won't 'plonk down' the bed coz it'll be difficult for you to get up or sit down when you are preggy :thumbs up:

in FS, air is supposed to be able to circulate around the mattress

supposed to be good for health as there'll not be stagnant air :)

hehehe i've got one too

but i got a 2nd hand one, think the person only used for a month

paid $60 for it :)

very good for us coz just push the lever to get the rice

no need to open cover, scope rice then cover back :notti:

Mine is at most decent level I think since we'd went for 10" mattress, so not that high also. If looking for short legs, how short and whether you'd like the legs to be visible? Or else can try plint stands just like the Ikea MALM bedframe on both ends.

As short as possible so tt it will still look and 'comply' with fs? :dancingqueen: And yup, legs have to be visible. Otherwise, how to see from bottom across the other side? But hor, dunno platform can take the additional weight of the frame or not. Ikea ones... hmm... ok, guess have to make another trip there soon. That time bio cabinets but didnt see the mattress section. Haha!
