Buyer Delays Completion

HDB called 2 days before completion that buyer not able to complete and HDB knew 2weeks ago that buyers have problems! banker wanna change lawyer.

Now buyers pestering us with "house" and phone calls to let them move in even though completion need to delay. lucky now we moved out of old hse.. Worst is buyer agent insisted that my seller agent shouldn't contact buyers but buyers kept pestering us with phone calls instead of calling our agent.. *unfair*

what remedy can seller seek from the delay in completion? was waiting for the $ to pay for my new house renovation.. cham liao..

hdb says we still need to service the interest for old house (deduct once completion done) and we've to continue to pay for all the bills relating to the old hse.. *faint* izit safe to let the buyer move in 1st? they've to vacate their rented place soon but we very scared sekali they can't complete, then we really cham.. been very suay.. our recently bought resale flat oso many problems (almost can't complete! and sellers purposely spoilt many things in the house so we practically have to change everything in the house, including the bedroom doors!)... so now we beri scared...

Personally will like to help them out... but if you let them move in, they may not have the urge to complete the sales, it will delay even more.... God knows what plans they have behind their mind for delaying the sales??.... letting them move in first will only help them with their plan but on your own expenses... is it worth it? You will have to decide... Good Luck!!

What you mean "banker wanna change lawyer"??

Does that mean they take bank loan and the bank want to change lawyer? Like that can delay the completion meh?? Somemore two weeks...very suspicious.

Like brainstorm I would help where I can also (ultimate objective is to complete the transaction), but got to see the reason for delay first...
