Can I Paint The Wall By Myself?

Recommended Posts

I was thinking of doing myself since it's only 1 side of the wall...

I plan to paint it with vermillion or orange reddish...

can i do this by myself without seeing any patches?

what brand of paints do you all reccommended?

if u got energy, why not :sport-smiley-004: its really cheaper. labour in s'pore is pretty ex.

but if your wall bery 'mor-peng', u need to plaster first.. this one i think need some 'gongfu'... maybe ask professionals to do better.

if you have the patience and time, you can DIY by all means

just have a piece of fine sandpaper and a scrapper on hand

use the scrapper to remove any protruding bits and sand down the wall

use putty to fill up any holes or cracks

and you can paint liao :sport-smiley-004:

hmm 'very good condition' is rather subjective

as long as it's a smooth surface you can just paint over it

go get a copy of the 2008 ICI catalogue, there's a step-by-step guide at the back showing you how to DIY a paint job

personally, i'm using 3-in-1 medifresh from nippon coz of the anti-bacteria quality

economic wise just go for the basic range from either nippon or ICI, both are the same to me

i used ho bee for my home and i have to say they did a great job

price is $90 / day excluding cost of paint

took them almost 12 days to complete my unit of 134sqm !!
