Is This View Good?

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

I've interested in one of the unit in Tampines and viewed it myself this morning (only from outside:P).

The main door (NE) and window facing (SE) direction is what I want but I found that other block (triangle shape) in front is actually directly hit to this unit, I attached the picture here, kindly help to justify and comments. Thanks.

Cheers,

V

See the 2 blocks in front that have bamboo stick with hanging clothes, the blocks shape is kind of triangular and hitting the corridor where I stand and took the picture.

@MaCe,

Main door is actually facing the wall, and this picture was taken while standing in front of the window.

@Nipponho,

This is what I think so even it is not hitting the main door but is it good if it is hitting the window?

didnt see anything wrong - for sharp corners only the 4 corners of a opposite building poses "threat" - none of the opposite building's corners are facing you wat.

There is this thing called, Tian Zhan Sha, I not sure if this applies to this pic. I heard about this, something to do with triangular roof tops pointing towards your house. U look at the top, u can see the triangular roof top, very obvious. Note : I MAY BE WRONG, I BASED ON WHAT I HEARD VAGUELY

Sorry guys, maybe you are all confused with which triangular shape I was referring to, kindly refresh the page and you will see there is 2 red circle in the picture, that was what I meant by triangular shape.

Hope this clarifies.!!

Cheers,

V

Yeah those are the ones. Sorry i don't mean triangular, but the right angle of square or oblong that is pointing, it appears triangular bec the angle is pointing towards the camera.

It's not only the roof top, i goes vertically downwards.

ok, saw those you circled. this only applies to paranoids.

dont worry. only count those at EYE level + a building's 4 corners. a single typical hdb building have countless such corners if you count in all the structural pillars, protruded utility rooms, bamboos...etc

99.9% of all hdb houses' doors/windows sure can see such things...my house i can count at least 20 over such corners although i am staying at 2nd flr.... !!

but if triangular roof, (inverter V type), then it is slanted, then not very good rite. Cos the pointed end is pointing downwards.

So even though it is above your unit, it is aiming at it right?

@MaCe,

Haha, I see, so I will take your advice for granted, just ignore it:P

@Nipponho, Raincole,

Yes, it is a rectangular roof but what I meant was the triangular corner, my bad not describe better:)

So for the vertical downwards triangular shape, is it also safe to ignore?

Cheers,

V

only the direct 45 degree is counted. meaning the sharpest end is pointing directly at you.
