I did not venture inside.I was at jalan besar today. I saw one shop below a HDB flat. I could not spot the block number, but i think that is the one u were talking about. There are banners advertising for cheap aircon and a POSB atm.hmm....that part is think is jalan besar hdb - below selling lights. cross over to kelantan road - many many shops there all dealing with contractors(cheap pricing). from tools to fans...to whatever you need or you dont need, they sell cheap. Nipponho 0 Report post Posted December 8, 2007 Hi Mace,I know where already, was there today. The one that i saw was Blk 663 Jalan Besar. Kelantan is perpendicular lane. Maybe bec i went there about 5+, i only saw 4 shops selling lights, and the lights they sell are the simple design and older models. LouiseBrown 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2007 Yesterday, I bought some $1200 worth of lights from the D.I.Y shop at the junction of Jln Besar and Kelantan Rd. U can c it from the main road, a big 2-storey new-looking shop.Am happy with the sales service and reasonable prices.Can visit and c if they've got what U want. Nipponho 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2007 I went to 3T too, prices are quite ok, but the range is limited, i also did not see anything that i like.As for DIY, i think i went to the second level before, but left bec they were carrying Strauss, & I dont want to buy Strauss because they costs more.I bought from Tai Yong instead, they have a wider collection of small crystal wall lights.
