zirhk3355 1 Report post Posted December 3, 2007 This is as true as those fuel-savers for automotives, which claimed to have IMMEDIATE EFFECT, improve petrol consumption, increase torque and reduce engine wear. They also have 60-days money back guarantee, but only those who had tried will know how 'easy' it is to really get your money back.Basic common sense tells us, if it works, why aren't the carmakers pre-fitting them in their rides and increase their sales?Same for these power savers lor; if it really works, why aren't the electrical appliances pre-fitted with them?? sylee79 0 Report post Posted January 26, 2011 Hi All Anyone heard about this or using this? Appreciate any comments on this product this thing is some kind of SCAM, I have bought a MS188, and do some testing with power meter, all my electrical stuff, include refrigenerator, TV, fan, Desktop Computer, Laptop, show no different in power consumption... Really disappointed me very much.... Be careful!
VAG 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2011 This kind of device uses a big capacitor to lower the initial drawing of current from electric motor. But then, most modern electric appliances already have some form of voltage regulator build-in. So unless you have a lot of electic fan or washing machine in your house, I don't see any help from this. I would suggest to just switch off the mains of appliances which you are not using. This helps to reduce vampire power consumption due to the circuit standby mode. You will see the effect at the end of each month.
