We started looking for resale flats in Ubi since March 2007 after months of searching n waiting we finally found our home in June. Our first HDB appt on 6th Sept 2007 n finally the handover is on 18th Oct 2007.Due to budget constraint, we hire a contractor and do a very simple reno. Start off will provide a layout of our hse. !! momoe000 0 Report post Posted November 27, 2007 Pics of the messy hse during hacking Hacked kitchen entranceBefore the handover of the keys many weekends r spend looking for furniture, house appliances n lighting. we went to a lot of lighting shop in balastier, jalan basar n geylang to look for lights finally we settle for the lights in Dk Lighting for our house except the living room lights was bought during Nam Wah sales.Living room light plus painting done MBR light plus painting doneBedroom 1 light plus painting done bedroom 2 light plus painting done. bedroom 2 light is same as bedroom 1Finally the pics of cabinets up n furniture in !! momoe000 0 Report post Posted November 28, 2007 what mattress r u using?i using the sealy mattress bought during robinson sale but now have a small problem with the bed frame cos we din know tat spring coil bed cannot be put on those bed wif indvidual strips of wood must be put on the "whole piece" of wood ones ... now i got to find woodwelcome to renotalk, so happy to see pix of your new home !!the before and after pix really looks very different, even though you have not done much !! !!thanks applefreak love the wood furniture at ur hse too !!How much is ur common room light?U get from?we get it from DK lighting at $75 if i am not wrong Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Thanks tat green is called tart twist from Nippon paint if I am not wrong my husband choose the color turn out the result not bad so far we din plan to install any glass panel wun be doing any heavy cooking so i guess will be ok??? the entrance use to be narrower hubby wan it bigger so we hack ... n it make the kitchen look bigger n brighter Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
