Need Fs Advice My House

Recommended Posts

Hi Mr Chong,

Would appreciate if you could advise us on our floorplan. In addition, would also like to find out the following:

- any missing corners

- sink, stove, washing machine and fridge placement (is the layout in the floorplan ok? if i want to put the fridge at the stove area instead and the stove shift to opposite side, facing the fridge, is it possible?)

- placement of MBR cabinet and bed

- placement of shoe cabinet at the right side of entrance

- placement of fish tank

- which room suitable to be use as study room

- suitable colors

- previous owner told us that her FS master said kids cannot sleep in bedroom 3 because will clash with mother, is it true?

our information are as follow:

male owner's bday => Sep 1971

female owner's bday => Sep 1977

readings (see red circles in floorplan):

1. main door facing out => SE 105 deg

2. take 3 steps back facing out => SE 95 deg

3. side of house with most windows, facing window => NW 285 deg

4. center of house, if face balcony =>NW 285 deg, if face main door => NE 55 deg

my floorplan is as follow. i have include some placement that i planned

Hi Kajua,

What compass did you use? Was it electronic one? I had wanted to know mine directions in degrees, but it was a conventional one with the arrows, so i cannot tell exactly how many degrees.

Hi Nipponho,

I didn't use the electronic one leh. Its those conventional type which i bought at pasar malam :jawdrop: for mine, the degree is indicated on the compass itself, so not a prob for me

Mine need to align the needle to the North before taking any reading. With the needle on the north, it is very difficult to guess the degree. Are u using those that does not align the needle to north?

mine should be the same as yours. I also need to align the needle to the north before taking any reading. then based on the direction i face, i agar agar take the degree line that point to the direction i face

If i am not wrong, when the fengshui master use flying stars, u may not be able to agar. For each of the 8 directions, there are 3 sections, eg. N1, N2, N3..., classification on which depend on the degree.

So if you agar wrongly, u can't spot water star 8, which will give you "water".

oh when i said agar agar, the diff is probably +- 0.5 degree. i try to visualize a straight line from the direction i am facing with the line in the compass. hopefully won't result in too much diff in the classification :thumbs up:

Hello

Don't be too concern about "missing corners".

Keep the kitchen placement the same.

MBR placement is alright. Shoe rack ok. Can't find fish tank. Balcony don't put plants. Can use brown or yellow color there.

If study rm not use for whole day, can use rm 3. Decorate your door foyer area with a standing light. Switch on often.

Other fsm have their own theories. Got no head nor tail, can't comment.

I use DOB with time. Never mind, the house is ok. Be happy!!

I didn't include fish tank in my floorplan. Was thinking that perhaps you may advice us on this. How about placing them against the wall behind the dining table?

You mentioned "If study rm not use for whole day, can use rm 3". What if we use it every night on weekdays and almost whole day on weekends? In the event where we use it for whole day, what is the implication? Or do we use other room as study instead?

Hmm... balcony don't put plants, do we avoid plants totally? or can we put plant in the living room and the access balcony?

How about placing them against the wall behind the dining table? or the wall next to the TV console? Or can we place it int he bedroom 3 or study room?

Hello

Your house not suited to place fish tank. So don't try or listen to others.

Its ok, just add a glass jar with salt water and place at the middle of the back wall.

You can place a few small little plants outside your main door corridor. Plants outside the rm 2 wall or TV wall just beside the mbr or in rm 3.
