Bad Experience With Supreme Laminate

Hi,

I have heard many positive feedbacks about Supreme Laminates. However, mine is the opposite. I am surprised and disappointed with how the staff approached me. Just to give some background... I chose to go direct to Laminate Supreme after reading some positive feedback from them. I am very impressed with their demonstration and the sales guy - David Lee convinced me and my hubby to sign a deal with $500 deposit in one of the expo exhibitions. Last week, we met David from Supreme and my ID to discuss the schedule and chose the colour of the Laminate.

After discussing, I negotiated for a lower price. This is because the cost they quote me is the same as my ID. I have previously checked with my ID on the cost of SUpreme Laminte if I take from them. However, since I already have my deposit with Supreme, I decided to proceed but I was hoping that they can give me better costing. I go direct to them because I believe that the cost should be cheaper than going through 3rd party. During the discussion, David mentioned that if we can get a better price, he will match or give us the refund and confidently end the conversation. My hubby decided to take the challenge coz his friend has some contacts with some Laminate company. We got better cost at $3.60-$3.80 per sqft, compared to his $4 per sq ft with the same type of Laminate. According to the new company we have spoken, Supreme bought the Laminate from a factory in Malaysia and they repackage them into Supreme brand. Although the Laminate I chose is AC5, in Malaysia, it is still regarded as AC3. This is because it passes some PSB testing here and therefore it can be regarded as AC3. After much explaination from the new company, we have better understanding of Laminates.

Now, we are asking David to honour what he has promised us. After talking to David, I decided that I would want refund as he sounded overly confident and proud, saying that he has vaue-added service, which the other party is also giving me. Now, he claimed that he is joking with me. Does he thought we are a joker? How can he treat this as a joke in a dealing when we already make an effort to source for the best price.. I am disappointed with him. In addition, he accused us of back-stabbing him. So unprofessional..

I believe that you should make the issues big by taking to David's manager. Email to them on the things that you had mention.

Basically is that David had serveral negative feedbacks. Previously i went to the expo exhibitions mine was serve other person. I had been serve by David before but come to know what his talking is too boastful and proud. Making me feel like he is a show off guy.

You can tell David that the word that come out from your mouth why you are so unprofessional in it. This is that type of sales you are doing by telling words that you even cant do it. Speak to the his higher authories....

I spoke to the manager.. and he has asked me to get an ID that uses Supreme and he will deduct from there.. However, I have enough from Supreme.. No longer wanna use them especially dealing with that boastful guy.. Heard that he is one of the top sales person but at the same time, he is also one of the sales person who always receive complaint. Anyway, it is also very bad of me to reject the new laminate company coz have negotiated to get the best cost due to David's challenge.. I feel his manager also the same kind.. just dun bother and want to make money$$$

One thing I observe is that in the expo, never deposit money even it is very very very tempting.

Give yourself a cool down period, then decide.

well i can see that u had no choice over this issues over this boastful guy.

but still did u personally talk or call to the manager? it will be good to call the customer service and seek for davids manager or the person whom can make wise decision. try it. :sport-smiley-003:
