phoenix 0 Report post Posted November 20, 2007 (edited) Hi Mr Chong,I would like to ask your opinion on my new home. My unit facing is NE (but I don't have the exact reading in degrees at the moment). And it sits SW.Hope you can kindly give me some advise on the following questions: 1) I need to place a fishtank of size 6ft by 2.5ft in the living room somewhere. I had chosen that location (the blue colour rectangle), can I place a fishtank there? If not where should I place it?2) I have a small kitchen as there are lots of wasted space which can't really be used. I can't see how else to place the stove. Pls advise on that too if currently layout is really very detrimental.3) After reading 8 mansions (though I understand that the analysis is brief), I believe both me and my hubby belong to the West Group, our house kua 2 and life gua 8. 4) According to 8 mansion, the master bedroom is located in a "bad sector". Should I use another room as the main room we sleep in? If yes, which room? Will the analysis be more accurate if using Flying Stars theory? (I tried to read up on this but really catch no ball )5) I will be using one of the rooms as a home office, and I spend more then 10hrs a day in that room, studying and working. I need this room to be most ideal for me (lady of the house). I have chosen the 1st common room closest to the living room. Is this ideal?Sorry for the many questions... hope to receive some comments. Looking forward & thanks!! Edited November 20, 2007 by phoenix

Looking forward & thanks!!HelloYou need to follow my pinned instructions to get the compass readings.Especially when dealing with water. Water methods require proper directions to work. It will work, anyway...for good or for bad. So dan't take it lightly.Once I get the direction, will advice on your kitchen/home office too.Don't worry about 8 mansions/flying stars and bad sectors. Those book readings are too superficial (also there are many other methods). There are other details/principles that are needed to make 8 mansions/flying stars work. Mr Chong 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2007 Hi Mr Chong,Ok, will post the compass readings when I get them. But I am using an ordinary compass, the reading may not be very precise, this is ok right? Thanks.HelloIf readings are generally uniform everywhere in the house, ordinary compass (working) with deg will do. Otherwise get a more accurate engineer compass and follow pinned instructions. phoenix 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2007 Hi Mr Chong,I've got the readings.Step 1: Go to your main door, standing in-line with the door frame looking out, take a compass reading (use a good engineer compass). NE 55 degrees.Take 3 steps back and take another reading. NE 60 degrees.Step 2: Go to the side of your house with the most windows and take a reading. SW 250 degrees.Step 3: Stand in the centre of your house and take another reading. SW 220 degrees.Kindly help to answer the previously posted questions. Also, advise on best placement for bed in the master bedroom.Thank you.

Mr Chong 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2008 repost.. for mr chong. thanks.Hello phoenixThanks for waiting. If you insist to place fish tank, then put it at the wall corner of the dining area adjoining the bomb shelter. As for the kitchen, you have to swop the stove with the water basin. That means the stove will be nearer to your main door.As for your study, tell me what you see out of the room's window you intend to use.To shift your bed again, you need to pick a good date iwth your dob. However, I don't have the time to do so. If present location and direction don't give you much problem, just leave it.

Mr Chong 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2008 hello, i think the stove is already nearer to the main door in its current position. for my study, when i look out the blk, i see the opposite blk, quite a distance away.HelloMaybe I misinterpreted your floor plan. Just to confirm: Main door is beside bomb shelter, turn left is kitchen with toilet on the right and what are the 2 squares on the left? Right at the end of the kitchen, what is the square with 5 circles? (Based on the floor plan from your first post)

Right at the end of the kitchen, what is the square with 5 circles? (Based on the floor plan from your first post)That 2 squares on the left is outside of the house already... I think its where the gas meters are. The rectangle facing the windows with the 5 circles is the stove. Next to it, on the other side of the L-cabinets is the sink. The rectangle facing the windows with the 5 circles is the stove. Next to it, on the other side of the L-cabinets is the sink.I see, so the blank squares are outside the house. Seems like you can't do much. Then try not to keep water at the basin or put pails of water there.
