xlan 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2008 hi nemofc.. i guess.. hv to depend how much do u trust the contractor's carpentry work.. if u worried.. then get the sink area done with concrete.. concrete def last (near/almost) life time.. def is strong enough to hold anything any weight.. regardless of water/moisture..but i guess i'm in no position to give advice.. cos i didn't do any concrete support in kitchen.. hahaha.. n if u ask y.. i also hv no idea.. jus nvr cross my mind tat i need a concrete support.. until i read this concern in the recent threads.. haha.. *scratch head*..
