Mery 3 Report post Posted July 13, 2004 I actually also thought that leather sofa tears more easily but its quite easy to maintain because you can just wipe the dust off easily. The velvet material if I am not wrong a microfibre type of sofa. I'm also not into sofa now but have gone furniture searching with jenny.Butterfly, so you have those type of microfibre sofa? I thought of buying an L shaped one tooOn personal view, I find that on a hot sunny day when you are sweating..sitting on a leather sofa is really quite uncomfortable. Feel very sticky when you sit on it. Skin sticks on the leather..then you leave the sweat behind eeeyooooo.Which color theme do you all prefer? For leather, black looks nice ..got those classy look. For those microfibre kind, I prefer dark brown or perhaps mahogany.

Mery 3 Report post Posted August 2, 2004 nana thanks for sharing. I went down to Picket & Rail yesterday. It is their last day of sale. Their items were very cheap. The dining set with 6 chairs were only $499. I guess there were more items which were already booked. Bought a rotating night lamp(light blue cover) that has sheeps on them(called the Bisbee Lamps at picket and rail website ) and it reflects onto the wall at night. Now I can count sheeps to get to sleep Here's the website that shows the lamphttp://www.picketandrail.com/furniture/asslmp.htmlNana, Your divider is it like the Tiki Screen? I am looking out for them also. Went to Barang Barang at Marina Sq and took liking to a screen near the entrance. Its around $690. Not sure if it is too expensive.Do you have Teakland address or how to go there?
