davidfung 0 Report post Posted August 22, 2009 how about galaxy black? will the scratches be obvious on galaxy black? anyone got any experiences? thanks! hi... sorry for late reply... usually blacks are more prominent to scratches... but if u choose a black base with speckles it might not be so obvious.... but for corian solid surface.... u can only see hairline scratches at certain angles... davidfung 0 Report post Posted August 22, 2009 thanks david.........hmmm....hope it's not some pariah product...... the samples & packaging does looks pretty impressive though....... u r most welcome... usually samples and packaging have to look impressive and "superb".... but bear in mind... good things doesnt come in low prices... and most of the time all these are sales presentation... if u happen to come across anyone from renotalk who saw my samples b4, u can ask how i present my samples to them... i will actually show them my unpolished samples and the samples are juz in a box... if u dun mind i can show u my samples as well... btw in singapore corian is one of the only 2 brand that is using 100% acrylic and its non porous... cheers

newnyew 1 Report post Posted September 1, 2009 Hi David, how thick should the corian solid top comes in? if my contractor told me the thickness laid on the cabinet is 5mm but the thickness seen from front is 50mm, is it the normal practice? or is he trying to cheat me? thanks!
