i'd say get hdb to take a look at the crack

better be safe than sorry

most to most the hdb officer will complain to his colleague that you are a kiasu home-owner :)

as for the neighbour, i really think he is being too hostile

and did your ID's workers really took the bricks?

hdb also cannot force your neighbour to let you take photos

the only thing you can do is to try get him let you do it

for all you know he might be banking on getting a toilet makeover at your expense :notti::bleah:

thanks applefreak for your reply.. thats what I'm afraid of.. :notti: you mean they can engage their own contractor and fix the damage if there is??

till now I can't think of any reason why would the worker wants to take their bricks!! now I keep wondering if they trying to tekan us since we are renovating our flat, 20over yr old, sure there are wear and tear somewhere.. :) lucky our next door neighbour rather friendly..

as for the floor cracks, like u say, safe than sorry, I'll be the ks owner..

i was thinking more along the line of them blaming you for whatever spalling that's already there

then they'll say something like - 'originally okay, but after upstairs start renovation become like this...'

there are pple like that around :)
