zirhk3355 1 Report post Posted November 2, 2007 There are tangible benefits for joining the RC; but if you join for that, you will burn out very soon. The reason is because you do fork out ALOT MORE than all these benefits; ie your blood and sweat, sometimes even fork out money also for all the religious dinners, functions, events, etc just so that things can go smoothly. You know lah, how long a govt dept will take to dispense money; for the RC to take funds from the PA or MCYS is also very long.Bottomline: Cheng Hu will not let you rip them off or ride on their wind; all the scholars there, if they are so stupid, how to earn their million-dollar salary? Chunky Monkey 2 Report post Posted November 3, 2007 I can never do it. So much politics. If you have children and want them to get into good schools, I think being a grassroot leader et al, will help catapult your application to the top.
raincole 0 Report post Posted November 5, 2007 I think there is too much RC in singapore.... maybe if they can plan better, make a very good one at 1 location in the estate then will be better.
