Hi MaCe,

I do not mind you being frank and thanks for confirming that there are too many lights.

For MBR I have a F Celing so it has four lights and then two in the Walk in wardrobe and passage two dim lights on top of the TV. and one for the study table.

I got F ceiling for Living and dining too. But any way the message is its toooooooooo many and end up me paying the bills.

Is there any guide line I can refer too for putting lights. its a EA (131 sqm.)

thanks for your help and frankness really appreciate. I think this forum serve the purpose because of members like you.

dont make me happy siah....wakkaka

when i said your price is good becos market rate ;

lighting pt = $30

installation of lights = $8

the rest are either $5 or $10 dollars difference...conclusion is your electrician is giving you the market rate. he is not chopping you.

number of lights really depends on your design.....(this is the main reason).

mine is a EM 146sqm but my lightings pts total around 22 or 23 nia...cos i also take the PUB bill into acct....now me paying liao not my parents. !!

Hi... I have engaged Eric to do my electrical works. I have counted. Total I have abt 34 New lighting points. The rest are existing. and generally a lot of shifting here and there. New switch point, new socket points. He give me a lump cos we told him its ok to give us a lump as long as price is cheap!

Really like his service, he listens to ur needs and design attentively and offer alternative suggestions to hide the trunkings in places where he think can hide. :jawdrop:

Unlike the previous electrician, never listen to what my hubby says and everything ok ok! Then quote us 3k the next day with all the points wrong and such! And still got the cheek to ask for 50% downpayment.

My electrical works starts today and will the wirings and points will be done by monday. Payment scheme also very gd. 30% 30% 40%.

If you haben found 1 electrician, maybe you would like to try Eric as the others forummers always recommend! ;)
